iCare,
we’re fast, friendly, and flexible! We’re responsive to our members' needs,
whatever those may be.
You may not realize
that in the state of Wisconsin,
iCare
founded the concept of specialized managed
care programs for persons with disabilities ages 19 and older. Since
1994, iCare
has consistently grown and managed many changes that have come its way. And it’s
even more exciting to be employed at
iCare
now! In the spring of 2005, the State mandated that the entire Milwaukee
County SSI/Medicaid population be enrolled in a managed care program,
like iCare.
Although this introduced new competitors,
the vast majority of our members voluntarily chose to stay
enrolled and many more became (and are still becoming) new members. Simply put,
iCare
is the biggest, best managed, and most experienced health plan for those with special needs
in Wisconsin!
Whether you’re coming
into iCare
as a new employee, or someone who has been with the company from the start, you’ll sense the
friendly, welcoming impression that is a part of the way we work every day.
